Hospitality & Tourism

content

Launched by Michelin star chefs Albert Roux and Shirley Spear, our Hospitality and Tourism Academy offers you the opportunity to train at our on-campus Beechtree Restaurant.  Combining practical experience with theory, the resturant is a fully operational, public-facing venue that provides invaluable experience in professional kitchen and front-of-house roles.

Through our courses you will:

  • develop essential skills in food service, hospitality operations, and health and safety
  • explore the role of customer care
  • build strong industry links for careers across the hospitality sector

This course offered lots of different areas of hospitality, and it was a natural progression from the SCQF Level 5 which I studied last year. The transition was smooth even with not being in college for some of the year due to Covid-19.
