What our students say

Matthew Bishenden – HNC Sports Coaching and Development
I think you should go for it, the lecturers know exactly what they’re doing and you learn a lot.

I’ve obviously learnt a lot of new content amongst all the units. I’ve gained confidence when out on my placement and improved different areas such as my time management and problem solving.

Callum Hunter – BSc (Hons) Sport and Fitness
Prior to joining the course I had a large understanding of fitness, however for me the most enjoyable information I have learned from the course is the physiology, I find the in-depth diagrams, bone structure and muscle structures to be interesting to learn, seeing how they all work together.

Cara Coull – BSc (Hons) Sport and Fitness
This course has definitely helped to grow my confidence and not just in sports coaching. It has also really shaped my sports coaching journey and has helped me become a better coach overall.

It helped me find what I where wanted to go after college and gain the confidence to start up my own Taekwondo Club and to create our own club syllabus.
