I have taken part in student placement during the HNC Social Services course. My placement was in a respite service for Adults with Learning Disabilities. It was a brilliant placement where no two days where the same and you’re always kept on your toes.
It was super helpful to see how all the theory that has been taught during class actually relates to practice and makes it easier to see why legislation has been put in place and also makes understanding theory’s relating to behaviour and development easier.
