What is special about this course?
This course is designed to provide an opportunity for you to engage in learning from units, that will enhance your understanding of health and social care theories and practices.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is made up of a cluster of modules from our HNC Healthcare Practice and HNC Social Services courses.
Evidence of ability to work at SCQF Level 7, that includes minimum achievement of SCQF Level 6 units or awards.
Units you will study include;
- Professional Standards
- Leadership Starts with Me
- Understanding Loss and the Process of Grief
Studying these units will support you to:
- Develop knowledge around professional standards, loss, leadership, and values, that can be applied to many care settings.
In addition, you will gain knowledge, gain confidence at higher level studies as well as preparing you for progression to further study.
How will I study my course?
- Part Time
You will study face-to-face in college with support from your lecturers, however there will be some online learning through our Virtual Leaning Environment (VLE).
