What our students say

Kirstie Spark – Modern Apprenticeship
I have gained a lot of knowledge on different wiring and containment systems eg. T&E, singles, plastic and metal conduit and where these systems are best suited for.

I have learned about the maths/physics behind electricity which will come in handy when doing an install job as I know how to calculate which size of cable, I should use and other calculations that go along with it.

Nadine Legge – PDA Carpentry and Joinery
There is always help and support from all lecturers as and when needed, the best thing I would say about studying at UHI Moray is that all the staff members that have taught me have been great, are passionate about what they teach and have always been of help when needed.

I have gained problem solving skills, team working skills, and new necessary skills I will need in the workplace.
