What is special about this course?
Aimed at current chefs, this course is designed to deepen your existing skills.
Enhancing both your skills and understanding, you'll refine your practical techniques while developing a deeper understanding of professional cookery, kitchen operations and food safety.
With hands-on training taking place in our Beechtree Restaurant and classrooms, you'll gain the necessary skills to take on more responsibility within a professional kitchen.

You should ideally be working in a professional kitchen, with some hospitality industry experience.

You will study through a combination of face-to-face practical lessons and theory classes on campus, supplemented by our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

What can I do on completion of my course?
On successful completion of this course you may progress on a HNC in Professional Cookery.
You will also have the enhanced skills and knowledge to progress into more senior job roles.
