I have the privilege of teaching Maths and Numeracy to our students. I’ve been teaching, tutoring and assessing for twenty years or more.

I have an HND in Mechatronics from UHI Moray which has lead me to teach NC Electronic Engineering for fourteen years. I have TQ(FE) and Assessors’ Qualifications and have tutored school pupils with particular needs in Maths at a variety of levels from a variety of schools in Moray and Aberdeenshire.

About Me: I used to cliff-climb and abseil and have abseiled down high buildings several times for charity. The chimney stack at Raigmore Hospital being one of my more memorable abseils, as the wind at the top would blow me round the chimney and I’d end up far off course from my guide belay at the bottom.

Another thing I did fundraising was to run a few miles with Commonwealth silver-medal winner, Brain Whittle. What I really mean is that he ran with me, slowly and patiently, but he was hugely encouraging and made me feel good about doing it. I’m not a runner!
