Jeni Johnston
I am a Counselling Lecturer at UHI Moray and a private practice counsellor working with both young people and adults. My areas of special interest include Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), addiction, and supporting children and young people through emotional and personal challenges.
I am passionate about creating a safe, genuine, and non-judgemental space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Alongside my counselling work, I enjoy supporting students in developing their confidence, skills, and professional identity within the counselling field.
I bring warmth, authenticity, and creativity into both teaching and practice — and I’m probably best recognised by my pink hair, tattoos, and piercings, which reflect my belief that counselling should feel human, approachable, and inclusive for everyone.
