With demand on incorporating fitness training in Sports, our HNC Cluster serves is ideal for anyone who is looking to:
- Enhance their professional development and knowledge on health, fitness, and wellbeing
- Taster of current themes and practices within the health and fitness industry before potentially enrolling onto a full-time course
- Sports coaches who want to explore health and fitness within their current practices

Entry Requirements:
- 2 Highers at grade C or above
- Equivalent qualifications from other awarding bodies may also be considered

How will I study my course?
- Part-time
You will study through a combination of face-to-face classes on campus and remote learning via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), with support from your lecturers.
How long will my course last?
32 weeks
4 hours per week
How is the course assessed?
Using a range of approaches such as practical demonstrations (e.g. delivering fitness sessions), written assignments, multiple-choice tests, or reflective journals to assess both theoretical and practical knowledge.

Upon completion of this course, you may progress onto our full HNC Fitness, Health and Exercise course.
Alternatively you can enter employment in the sports and fitness industry.
