Having worked in professional kitchens for over 20 years, I took the leap into teaching in 2007.  Passing on my skills and passion for the industry has been very satisfying and I love seeing students develop their confidence as well as their cookery skills whilst in the department.  Getting students to evaluate their own work ensures they work to their best standard. 

Outside of work I love going to the football, and do so as often as I can and enjoy keeping myself busy with DIY.  During the long summers I like to take off and tour around the country and Europe sampling the food and wine as we go.
