This course is designed to provide an opportunity you to engage in a range of activities designed to develop broad based skills in health and social care.
Developing your leadership role within a variety of health and social care settings, you will:
• demonstrate and develop their ability to lead as well as work as part of a team and to work within a multidisciplinary environment, adhering to professional standards and values.
• theory to practice and to reflect on the skills required to become a registered practitioner within the health and social care field.
• develop skills which allow you to work with a variety of patients/clients/individuals in different health and social care settings and to practice in an ant-discriminatory way.
In addition, as senior practitioners, Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) Professional Development requirements, will also be met.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is made up of a cluster of modules in our HNC Healthcare Practice and HNC Social Services courses

You will study mainly online through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) with support from your lecturers, however there will be some face-to-face teaching on campus.
