Providing an introduction to software development, you will learn programming concepts and how to carry out thorough testing of completed programs.

  • NC Computing with Digital Media (SCQF Level 6) OR
  • a Higher at grade C OR
  • relevant industry experience

  • Part-time

You will study through a combination of face-to-face classes on campus and remote learning via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), with support from your lecturers. 

How long will my course last?

32 weeks

September-January: 11-1pm and 2-4pm, 1 day a week for 16 weeks

January-June: 2-4pm, 1 day a week for 16 weeks

How is the course assessed? 

You will be assessed via a mix of practical open book course work and closed book assessments.
