Accept your place

Once you receive a conditional or unconditional offer, it's important you accept your place. You can do this by email.

In order to accept or decline your offer by email, please reply to your offer email or contact us at admissions.moray@uhi.ac.uk

  • Please include your name, applicant number, course code and the words 'accept' or 'decline.'

Please ensure that you reply to your offer as soon as possible. If it’s an unconditional offer acceptance, this will enable our admissions team to set you up on the Student Hub in UHI Records, where you can enrol online, select your units/modules (Degree programmes only), and access student support services. You can also apply for funding via the Student Hub and check the progress of your applications.

If you have any other queries regarding your application, please email admissions.moray@uhi.ac.uk quoting your applicant number.

Funding your studies can seem daunting but please don’t worry. The funding available to you is dependent on your SCQF level of study - whether you are studying at further education level (SCQF level 1 to 6) or higher education level (SCQF level 7 to 12).

Students on some courses, such as health and social care, are required to apply for the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership scheme, which is managed and delivered by Disclosure Scotland. Find out more about the PVG scheme here.

Our Policies

Our Policies

All of our current policies are available on our policies section. They include the following:

Academic Quality Policy

The Academic Quality Policy describes the key activities we will carry out to make sure the quality of services meets the necessary standards.

Attendance/Absence Procedure

UHI Moray expect that students aim to attend 100% of scheduled classes. There are some instances where this may not be possible. This document defines where students could be permitted to drop below 100%, when the appropriate evidence supports their absences.

Student Conduct Policy

This policy sets out how we aim to promote a positive learning environment for all students. It includes the Student Code of Conduct and describes what should happen if a student’s behaviour falls outside of this code.

Student Confidentiality Policy

During your time as a student at UHI Moray we will handle a range of personal information about you. We will do this in line with appropriate regulations including the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). During your studies we will share your data with a range of organisations. We will only share data when we need to and we will do this in line with the law.

Complaints and Suggestions

You have a right to make a complaint if you are not happy with any aspect of your student experience. The Complaints and Suggestions for Improvement Handling Procedure gives details of how you can complain or submit a suggestion for improvement

Course timetables content

Course timetables

Course timetables

Course timetables for the academic year will be available on the first day of your induction.

Timetables include classes or sessions that you must attend - either face to face on campus or remotely, depending on your course. Your timetable may include periods of self-directed learning that you are expected to carry out in your own time. Your programme team will provide you with further guidance on what is expected of you beyond what is timetabled.

Every attempt will be made to minimise alterations to timetables, however, in some circumstances, changes may be unavoidable.

Module registration (degree students only)

All degree/PGT students should make their module choices online each year. The ‘Pick your Modules’ tool will open in your Student Hub account in UHI Records at the same time as online programme enrolment so you can complete both of these important tasks at the same time.

Student services and support content

Student services and support

Our Student Services Centre is your one-stop shop to help guide you through your time with us, from that initial enquiry phone call through to registration, graduation and beyond. We aim to make your life easier, take away the potential minefield of queries, worries and concerns you may have, and give you all the support and advice you many need.

All full-time further education students (SCQF Levels 1 to 6) are allocated a Learning Development Worker (LDW) who will talk you through your goals and clarify what you hope to achieve. Higher education students (SCQF Level 7 to 12) will have a Personal Academic Tutor (PAT). You’ll be able to talk to your LDW/PAT throughout your course and they’ll be the first person you can turn to if you have any personal or academic concerns.
