Led by Brian Currie the Employability Team hosted a Volunteer Event on Thursday 14th Nov from 10am-2pm
Volunteer Event Thursday 14th November – A Wonderful Success
The event hosted 25 volunteer organisations from across Moray who set up stands and actively recruited students into various volunteer roles. This event was particularly useful for all level 6 students who are completing the ‘Volunteering Experience’ module as part of their PDP this year.
In addition to the stands a few of the organisers kindly agreed to give short presentations in the Lecture Theatre and this was very well attended by our students. Some organisations have had over 30 names of students interested in getting involved as volunteers in the community. All organisations were delighted by the great response and commented that they thought it should be an annual event.
