Moray College UHI Students win 1st place in National Film Competition.

3 Moray College HND UHI Interactive media students have won the Think Positive "48 Hour Film Challenge"

The Challenge which took place from 10am on Saturday 5th October 2013 - 10am Monday 7 October 2013. The students, whose team were known as "Unlikely 2 Finish", were up against 8 other college and university entries.

Entrants had 48 hours to make a film with the theme of ‘support’ and participants were asked to keep the overall Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival theme of "reality" in mind as well.

The 48 Hour Film Challenge took place for students from all Colleges and Universities in Scotland as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival which is held yearly in October with a huge number of events and exhibitions being held all over Scotland: www.mhfestival.com.

The organisers said "It was incredibly hard to choose a winner due to the high standard, creativity and passion for the topic portrayed through these films and all participants deserve high praise for their efforts."

The videos will be shared to promote understanding and provoke thinking about how support can come from a variety of sources.

Well done to Finlay MacDonald, David Wilson and Chris Day.
