Australian Bush Flower Essence - Introductory content

Australian Bush Flower Essence - Introductory

You don’t need to know anything about Flower Essences or natural healing, or even have an intention of using the Essences on anyone other than yourself, your family and friends.

We start with the basics and our aim is that by the conclusion of the course you will be a confident and competent Bush Flower Essence practitioner.

You will learn:

  1. History of the development of Flower Essences
  2. The healing qualities of all 69 of the individual essences in the Australian Bush Flower Essences range, as well as the ready-made ABFE combinations
  3. The chakra system and subtle Energy bodies along with their corresponding Bush Essences
  4. How Flower Essences work
  5. How thoughts and emotions affect wellbeing
  6. The cutting edge science validating the ancient healing systems of Ayurvedic Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine
  7. Common emotional issues and corresponding Bush Essences for each theme
  8. How to prepare an individual Flower Essence for yourself and others
  9. Methods of application
  10. Case Histories
  11. The history of, and how to interpret, the ancient art of the Doctrine of Signatures

At the conclusion of the course, and upon successful completion of assessments, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Australian Bush Flower Essences.

Beginners Guide to Photoshop content

Beginners Guide to Photoshop

This 6 week course will cover the basic Photoshop skills to edit your pictures.  Topics covered are Cropping, Resizing, Cloning, Dodging and Burning and working with layers. 

This is a hands on course with each student having a computer with Photoshop and Lightroom. 

No experience required.

Drawing and Oil Painting content

Drawing and Oil Painting

Looking at composition, drawing out a painting and learning the importance of tone. Mixing and applying paint. If any students have been on the previous course a new image will be supplied or you can bring your own image, preferably printed to A4 size.

The aim is to complete the course with a finished painting worthy of hanging on your wall!

All levels welcome, absolute beginners to advanced painters.

Please note that students will need a pre-made canvas (primed), a set of oil paints, various brushes, pencils and turpentine (there is no need to purchase expensive versions of any of these items).

French – Beginners

A foundation course that will give the student the confidence to talk in the following topics: Introducing yourself and Travel, Describe your family and your house, Hotels and camping and Services, Holidays and Transports, Shopping, Food and drink, Health and wellbeing and Hobbies, School and employment.

Learning traditions and local customs as well as the basic language. Trying authentic French food recipes for homework and original songs with lyrics.

Mindfulness content

Mindfulness

The Mindfulness Based Living Course is a structured training course in mindfulness meditation with a focus on compassion and kindness for self and others.

Participants will learn mindfulness meditation skills, develop an understanding of the potential benefits of mindfulness for health and wellbeing and explore ways to be more mindful in daily living.

Participants will also need to be able to download the Mindfulness Association App (available for Android and Apple devices.)
