Health and Social Care: Administration of Medication (SCQF level 7)
Focusing on the safe and effective administration of medication in health and social care environments this course explores medication handling, legal responsibilities, risk management, and the recognition of adverse reactions. Alongside the principles of safe storage, recording, and disposal, it bridges essential knowledge with workplace-based learning enabling practitioners to strengthen their competence and confidence in administering medication, responding to emergencies, and supporting individuals safely within care home, residential, or home care services.
Counselling: Children and Young People (10-18) (SCQF level 11)
As one of the few specialist counselling qualifications in Scotland focused exclusively on the therapeutic needs of children and young people, this course examines child and adolescent development, trauma, safeguarding, ethical practice, and specialist counselling approaches designed specifically for 10–18 year olds. Bridging research-informed practice with hands-on skills, it will enable existing practitioners to embed and consolidate critical understanding of theories, principles and concepts into safe and competent therapeutic practice with Children and Young People.

Gas, oil and renewables
Our Gas, Oil and Renewables centre has all the facilities required to offer training and assessment in Domestic, Commercial, LPG gas courses, OFTEC, Unvented Hot Water and Byelaws, Solar Thermal, Air and Ground Source Heat Pumps, and Biomass.
Delivery of training and assessment for all courses can be tailored to suit the individual, to include distance learning, full or part time attendance, weekdays or during weekends.
