Investigate Resonate Disseminate

Moray School of Art students Muriel Hughes, Kim Welch and Sadie Stoddart were chosen to take part in an internship with Grampian Hospital Arts Trust (GHAT) on the 'Resonate Disseminate' project with the aim to enhance healthcare spaces with artwork.

Headed up by lead artist Mike Inglis, practicing artist and part time lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art, the project is spread across two sites including Dr Grays Hospital in Elgin and Inverurie Hospital.

Throughout the project the Moray College UHI Fine Art Degree students shadowed the artists from GHAT, helped out with events and documented their experiences in photographs and sketchbooks.

Muriel Hughes, third year fine art student said: “We have organised this event as part of our internship to exhibit the unique mixture of documentation and collaboration.”

The exhibition will showcase the artwork of the students, the artists and the community as well as offering potential outcomes for 'Resonate Disseminate' project as it becomes embedded across the Grampian region.

The opening event at Moray School of Art Gallery at the college campus on Friday 16th February at 2pm will celebrate the project featuring the artists and a performance by art poet Jo Hastie.
