The post

The Highlands and Islands Students' Association seeks to recruit two Student Engagement Assistants to support the Association in its democratic and academic representation role across the whole UHI partnership, in one of the most exciting and innovative educational environments in the UK.

The post-holders will work alongside the elected student officers and staff team of the Association to develop HISA's representative and democratic structures at a local level within the UHI Partners.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable passion for engagement and participation, ideally having previously worked in an empowering and enabling capacity with people in an educational setting.

Each post will be based at one of the HISA local partners within the University of the Highlands and Islands; Argyll College, Highland Theological College, Lews Castle College, Moray College, North Highland College, Orkney College, Scottish Association for Marine Science, Shetland College, West Highland College or North Atlantic Fisheries College.

The details

• These two roles are full-time posts (35 hours per week), fixed term for two years.
• Salary will be £18,118.
• The closing date is 5pm on Thursday the 14th July.
• Interview will be held in Inverness on the 21st and the 22nd July.
