Jackie Andrews

I have lived and worked in Moray for the past 37 years, the majority of which I spent at UHI Moray, initially as a lecturer but most recently as Head of Academic Partnerships, where I worked to strengthen collaboration between education, industry and the wider community to create opportunities for learners and support regional skills development.

My interest in education continues and I currently sit on the National Schools Programme Strategic Advisory Group, overseeing the implementation of recommendations from a recent programme review.

I remain actively involved in community initiatives. I am Chair of Elgin Town Hall for the Community, helping support its role as an important cultural and community space, and a Board Member of the Elgin Neighbourhood Board, contributing to local investment and regeneration in the town.

I am also co-founder of The CoatHangar, a volunteer-led initiative that provides warm4winter coats for people in need across the community.
