National Student Survey 2013 Results

Excellent Results from this years UHI student survey. Moray College UHI scored 88% for students satisfied with their experiences compared with an average of 84% across the UHI.

The results of the National Student Survey were published last week and the university would like to thank all of the students who were asked to participate and provided their valuable feedback, it really was appreciated.

Of the students who were targeted to complete the survey (an amazing response rate of 73%), 84% indicated they are satisfied with their university experience. This means that we are ranked joint 7th out of the 18 Scottish higher education institutes which took part.

The survey results also allow for identifying areas where we can improve the student experience however they have highlighted areas where the University of the Highlands and Islands exceed the national average which include: teaching, academic support and encouragement of students’ personal development.

Feedback will be provided on the actions arising from the survey to improve the student experience at The University of the Highlands and Islands in due course.
