It provides candidates with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to enable them to describe the production and characteristics of a three phase supply. You will also develop the necessary knowledge and skills to determine voltages and currents in both balanced and unbalanced three phase loads. Similarly you will develop the knowledge and skills to calculate different types of power in three phase loads and also to describe the techniques used to measure active power in three phase systems.
