content

With over 300 contracted staff in posts delivering learning and teaching, supporting students and supporting the necessary functions in relation to running a college, the Board of Management recognises the importance of recruiting and retaining an engaged and motivated workforce and therefore is committed to the implementation of best people management practices.  It is an important objective that the college is one which operates to the highest standards of quality, leadership and management to ensure the attraction, retention and development of staff; establishment of appropriate reward structures; promotion of equality and creation of a healthy, safe, supportive and motivating environment.  We therefore work hard to ensure that we offer the best benefits possible to our staff and strive to support them in reaching their full potential within their roles.

We are also committed to improving upon how we employ our staff and encourage our staff to contribute to these improvements through our recognition arrangements) with staff representatives and trade union representatives from EIS/FELA and UNISON), staff surveys and team meetings.

Our new social activity group (Seeking New Adventures Group - SNAG) organises a series of events and activities to support social interactions of staff, encouraging cross interaction and collaboration of teams and departments in a more social setting.

If you would like further information on the procedures, pay and benefits provided by the college then you can contact a member of the Human Resources team on (01343) 576230 or by emailing to mc.jobline@moray.uhi.ac.uk
