Moray School of Art students selected for Scotland +Venice programme

Moray School of Art is delighted to announce that 3 students from the school have been selected to take part in the 2015 Scotland + Venice programme.

The Scotland + Venice programme provides opportunities for young art school students and recent graduates to learn and develop their new skills within a context of the 56th International Art Exhibition - la Biennale di Venezia - the largest and most prestigious art exhibition in the world. For the first time the exhibition will host students from Scottish Art schools including Moray School of Art. The programme offer participants training, mentoring, support and work experience. Each of the students will spend up to 4 weeks in Venice greeting visitors to the exhibition. A key aspect of the programme will be to communicate the impact for the programme through a new initiative called the 'loop' which provides an opportunity for the students to produce a collaborative project to share their experiences to inspire other Art and Design students across Scotland.

Participating students from Moray School of Art are Julija Astasonika, Hester Grant and Amanda Lightbody.
