This part-time course has been designed to build on your foundation of hairdressing skills. 

With study taking place within a real working environment, you will: 

  • Develop your current knowledge 
  • Develop your understanding of the structures and functions of the hair, skin, and scalp products and treatments available 
  • Consult, perform and evaluate hair and scalp treatment plans 
  • Build awareness of the personal, vocational, and societal applications of social media

How will I study my course?

  • Part-time

This is a practical based course with face-to-face practical classes on campus supplemented with our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

How is the course assessed? 

Observation will be carried out for practical assessments carried out in a realistic environment. Knowledge will be covered by a variety of assessment methods to include reports, plans, project work, portfolio, and open book assessments.

Course cost: £344 

If eligible you can apply for a SAAS Part-time Fee Grant (PTFG).

Additional Costs

You will be required to purchase a uniform (approx. £137.18) for this course. Students may qualify for help through the discretionary fund.
