This part-time course has been designed to build on your foundation of barbering skills. 

With study taking place within a real working environment, you will enhance your current facial barbering skills and build awareness of the personal, vocational, and societal applications of social media.

Entry Requirements:

  • successful completion of Foundation in Barbering (SCQF Level 5) OR  
  • an equivalent qualification or sufficient industry experience in Hairdressing or Barbering Industry       

You must attend a Course Information Event Prior to the course commencing.

This is a practical based course with face-to-face practical classes on campus supplemented with our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

How is the course assessed? 

Observation will be carried out for practical assessments carried out in a realistic environment. Knowledge will be covered by a variety of assessment methods to include reports, plans, project work, portfolio, and open book assessments.
