Moray School of Art Alumni Programme
The Moray School of Art (MSA) Alumni Programme is an annual programme designed to support MSA graduates post-study and beyond, through peer-led gallery socials, residencies, exhibitions, group crits and more! Created by Alumni, for Alumni, the programme is for MSA graduates from any cohort, new and old – we have a fantastic community of alumni, and we want to bring them together.
For an annual fee of £25, the programme offers:
- Entry into an annual Alumni Exhibition in the MSA gallery space
- The opportunity to apply for 2x artist residencies, where you could be working in the MSA studio spaces again! (Currently limited to 1x resident artist per semester)
- Group crits held on-campus
- Alumni making days: an opportunity to come together in a safe space, create and have a blether
- A vote towards the new ‘Alumni Choice Award’ – a £250 prize given to one graduating artist each year at their degree show

The Alumni programme is open to graduates of any art course at Moray School of Art, including BA (Hons) degree, HNC, HND, and UAL courses.
You don’t have to still be a practicing artist to join the programme either – while we do have lots of practice-related events on throughout the year, members are absolutely welcome to come along to them even just for a blether with MSA peers!
You can join the programme at any point in the year. The fee will remain the same throughout the year, with all proceeds going towards the annual programme of activities.

You can sign up by filling in the form included in the Programme Information Booklet, popping it in an envelope addressed to ‘Moray School of Art Alumni Programme’ along with £25 cash for the annual fee, and handing it into the UHI Moray reception, Moray St, Elgin IV30 1JJ.
Online sign ups and card payments are not currently accepted – we’re working on that for 2024/25! There are cash machines near campus at Asda and several on Elgin High Street.
Don’t have a printer at home? You are welcome to fill in and send your sign-up form via email and submit your £25 cash to the UHI Moray Reception addressed to ‘Moray School of Art Alumni Programme’ – please remember to write your name on the envelope so we know who’s cash it is though!
