UHI Moray are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Accounting on a full time, permanent basis to join the Business and Accounting team. Applicants must be a Qualified Accountant and should hold a relevant qualification at SCQF Level 10 or above in an accounting related subject.  They must have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to teach a range of practical and theoretical sessions in Accounting. Applications are encouraged from candidates who could also teach across Business related subjects but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will deliver a wide range of accounting modules, in both management and financial accounting, and so must have relevant industry and/or practice experience including recent experience of using SAGE software. Candidates will be required to deliver modules face to face on campus and virtually using the Virtual Learning Environment so must have excellent computer mediated communication skills supported by a flexible can-do attitude. A student centred and enthusiastic approach is essential, as well as a commitment to excellence. Experience of teaching or training including online, and possession of a teaching qualification would be an advantage but is not essential for the post.
