RSA200: Learning Forward - Alumni Exhibition at Moray School of Art

In 2026 the Royal Scottish Academy [RSA] is celebrating its bicentenary and 200 years of Scottish Art and Architecture.

As part of the RSA200 programme of events, and in celebration of alumni achievements, UHI Moray will be hosting a group exhibition at Moray School of Art’s Gallery space that showcases work from UHI Fine Art alumni who were previous RSA New Contemporaries award winners.

Fifteen alumni from Moray School of Art, UHI Shetland and UHI Orkney who graduated from BA Fine Art between 2009 – 2025 will be exhibiting new and existing work in the Moray School of Art gallery from Friday 30th October – Friday 27th November, Monday to Friday from 9am – 4.30pm. There will be a private viewing on Thursday 29th October from 6pm – 8pm. It will also be open on Saturday 14th November from 10am – 2pm as part of the UHI Moray open day and some of the artists will be on site to talk about their work.

As part of the RSA200 programme, UHI Moray will also be taking current students on a study trip to Edinburgh in November where they will get the chance to visit the Royal Scottish Academy's collections hub, and a special exhibition tour of the 200 Years exhibition at the RSA.
