Bringing learning, collaboration, and wellbeing together
Integrative healthcare explores how complementary therapies can support people living with long-term health conditions, manage stress and improve everyday wellbeing.
Open to anyone with an interest in complementary therapies, this event will look at how therapies such as massage, aromatherapy and reflexology are being used to help people manage long-term physical and psychological conditions, improve wellbeing and enhance quality of life. It will also explore how therapists, charities and health and care organisations can work together to offer more joined-up support within the community.
What to expect
You will hear from the Integrative Healthcare teaching team, guest speakers with lived experience, and current students who are putting their learning into practice. Together, they will explore how integrative healthcare is developing locally and what this means for future collaboration, employment and study.
You will also have the opportunity to:
- Take part in short taster treatments
- Try interactive activities linked to different therapies
- Meet local therapists, students and community organisations
- Share ideas on how integrative healthcare could support your organisation or community
- Find out more about studying Integrative Healthcare at UHI Moray
