Professional Cookery NC – Day Release SCQF Level 6
What is special about this course?
This course is aimed at those already working in the industry and want to deepen your existing basic skills.
You'll enhance both your practical abilities and theoretical understanding through hands-on training in our fully equipped Beechtree Restaurant kitchen and classroom sessions.

Entry requirements
Candidates will normally be working in the Hospitality Industry, in a professional kitchen, and will have some experience under their belts. This course is designed to offer an opportunity towards a qualification whilst continuing to work.

Equipment
A uniform and equipment are required for this course which will be supplied by UHI Moray (approx. cost £400-500). If you are eligible for a bursary these costs will be covered.

You will study through a combination of face-to-face practical lessons and theory classes on campus, supplemented by our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
