What is special about this course?
With a focus on gaining skills for work or further study, this course develops your knowledge in business, accounting and administration.
Building knowledge in areas such as HR, the Scottish economy and financial services, you will see how different parts of a business connect in the real world. You'll gain practical experience using tools like spreadsheets, databases and word processing and explore how businesses operate, from understanding finance and payroll to learning about customer care, communication and promoting a business.

How will I study my course?

You will study through a combination of face-to-face practical classes on campus and remote learning, where some lectures and sessions are timetabled remotely via video conferencing and our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), with support from your lecturers.

What can I do on completion of my course?
On successful completion of this course you may progress to further study such as:
- HNC Business
- HNC Accounting
- HNC Administration and IT (within UHI)
Alternatively, you will be able to enter employment within business, finance, marketing, administration and retail.
