With a qualification in business, accounting and administration you could work across a range of sectors.
This course will allow you to develop a range of skills and knowledge to embark on a career or to progress to further study.
You will study a range of key business functions such as IT, administration, finance, marketing, and customer care.
You will develop a strong grounding in business, accounting and administration including various practical elements, allowing you to practice and demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experience gained throughout; a highly valued and transferable employability skill.

Entry requirements
- 3 National 4s one of which must be English (Maths or Application of Maths is also desirable)

How will I study my course?
- Full Time
You will study through a combination of face-to-face practical classes on campus and remote learning, where some lectures and sessions are timetabled remotely via video conferencing and our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), with support from your lecturers.

Additional costs
Normally, if you are studying full time for the first time and are Ordinarily Resident in Scotland your course fees will be covered through the information you provide on your course application.
If you are studying part time and are on low income or in receipt of certain benefits your course fees may be covered by a fee waiver.
If you are not Ordinarily Resident in Scotland, you may need to pay course fees.

What can I do on completion of my course?
On successful completion of this course you may progress to further study such as:
- HNC Business
- HNC Accounting
- HNC Administration and IT (within UHI)
Alternatively, you will be able to enter employment within business, finance, marketing, administration and retail.
