What is special about this course?
Lash and Brow treatments are extremely popular in the Beauty Industry.
This unique course been specifically designed to provide a qualification based on lash and brow treatments for those who choose to specialise in this aspect of Beauty Therapy.
With studies taking place in our professional training salons, you will gain the relevant knowledge and skills required to work both within a salon or become self-employed including:
- Health and Hygiene
- Gender Inclusive Brow Grooming
- Lash Extension
- Wellbeing and Mindfulness
Special Features:
- You can become fully qualified in one semester.
- There are classes that focus on positive mental health and wellbeing.
- Allows for progression onto further studies or specialisms.
You will work on fee paying clients throughout your course and as part of a collaborative team within our realistic working salon. You may also engage in cross college or external community events as part of your study.
Entry requirements
- 3 National 4s (including English) OR
- a SCQF Level 4 course or equivalent OR
- completion of all 12 credits from the Beauty and Aesthetic Therapies (SCQF Level 4) course.
- You must be aged 16 or older at the start of the course.
- Applications are encouraged from prospective students without the standard entry requirements as listed above.

Equipment
You will be required to purchase a kit/uniform as part of this course (approx. £350). If you are eligible for a bursary these kit costs will be covered. Infill students may be required to purchase a kit for some units.
You will be responsible for sourcing your own clients for assessment.
You must also work and be worked on for all practical units.

Fees
Normally, if you are studying full time for the first time and are Ordinarily Resident in Scotland your course fees will be covered through the information you provide on your course application.
If you are studying part time and are on low income or in receipt of certain benefits your course fees may be covered by a fee waiver.
If you are not Ordinarily Resident in Scotland, you may need to pay course fees.
