What is special about this course?

Ideal for those who already use or have a British Sign Language (BSL) qualification, this course will help you strengthen both your receptive and productive language skills. Helping you understand and respond more naturally in real-life conversations, you'll develop confidence communicating in a range of personal, social and workplace situations.

You'll also learn how to organise and express ideas more clearly and effectively through topics such as personal identity, employment, current affairs, and the social and physical environment.

  • Build confidence using BSL across a wider range of social, personal and vocational situations

  • Completion of British Sign Language (SCQF Level 4)

This is a practical based course with face-to-face classes on campus supplemented with our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
