Social Services & Healthcare (SCQF Level 6) Modern Apprenticeship

What is special about this course?

Apprenticeships combine work with study, so you can earn while you learn. It is an exciting way of gaining a recognised qualification that will help to start your career without having to study full time.

The healthcare industry is one of Scotland’s most valuable job sectors involving a range of duties from elderly care, home nursing, palliative care, healthcare assisting, and more.

By studying this course, you will be able to formally demonstrate and gain recognition of your competence and knowledge.

You will work with experienced colleagues and with the support of a dedicated assessor you will gather examples of everyday tasks and build an e-portfolio of evidence.

It is a legal requirement by the SSSC that all support workers in care services are working towards or have already achieved this qualification or equivalent.

We can tailor the frameworks to fit different job roles. The Modern Apprenticeship aspect of this course has been designed in partnership with the Sector Skills Council: Skills for Care and Development, ensuring that you will be highly qualified and skilled.
