What is special about this course?

This course is for those who may be apprehensive and require help to develop the necessary skills to engage with education and the workplace.  

Specifically created to support you in developing your confidence, communication skills and general workplace abilities, the course will help to develop:

  • Independent learning, teamwork and coping mechanisms.  
  • Resilience and communication strategies
  • Healthy living practices and workplace considerations.  

By helping you to gain these skills in a supported manner you will leave the course feeling ready to move forward in education and for enhancing employment prospects.  

As part of the course there will be a small element of practical work based on self-care and presentation and workplace opportunities. You will also have to opportunity to explore a variety of subject areas to capture your interest and passion.

Entry requirements

Evidence you can work at National 3/4 Level across 3 subjects (inc. English)  

No previous practical experience required
