Tree Identification
What is special about this course?
This two-day course will allow you to explore the features used to identify trees and the basics of botanical plant naming.
Considering tree morphology and development alongside the care and maintenance of young and established trees you will develop greater appreciation of trees, their benefits, growth, identification and care.

You will be required to purchase safety boots as part of this course (approx. £30).

What can I do on completion of my course?
On successful completion of this course you will be invited for an interview to progress to further study which may include:
Horticulture (Practical): College Certificate (SCQF Level 5)
Environmental Science and Sustainability (SCQF Level 6)
HNC (Next Gen) Horticulture
Alternatively, you can progress into employment in a number of areas including garden centres, private gardens and organisations such as the National Trust for Scotland.
