We offer a range of first aid courses from Emergency First Aid to the more comprehensive First Aid at Work course.

Our prices are very competitive and students learn in the Alexander Graham Bell Centre for Digital Health at our campus in Elgin, offering an environment which fosters high quality learning in a modern health care centre.

We can also offer onsite First Aid courses at your workplace for up to 12 employees from just £450 per day. Our First Aid Trainer covers onsite training across Moray, Inverness and Aberdeenshire.

All courses are FAIB approved. FAIB is the First Aid Industry body who now validate our training and ensure standards are maintained nationwide in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. All courses below provide an overview of the use of an AED (Defibrillator).

First Aid at Work Certificate Course (18 hours)

This covers all aspects of First Aid and is valid for 3 years and meets the requirements of theHealth and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. 

In line with HSE guidelines it is strongly recommended that holders attend the Resuscitation Skills Update course annually

First Aid at Work Requalification Course (12 hours)

This course is open to those holding a current First Aid at Work Certificate.  It is designed for those who wish to update their first aid skills and renew their certification for a further three years.

The course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, and provides a practical update on all aspects of First Aid covered in the First Aid at Work Certificate course. 

In line with HSE guidelines it is strongly recommended that holders attend the Resuscitation Skills Update course annually.

Emergency First Aid at Work Course (6 hours)

This course is designed to meet the requirements of employers in lower risk environments and covers resuscitation, shock, bandaging and medical emergencies. 

The course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This course is designed to meet the needs of parents and childcare workers and covers First Aid skills relevant to young people up to 8 years old.

Resuscitation Skills Update (3 hours)

This course is designed as an annual skills update for those holding a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.  Additionally it provides an introduction to First Aid for those with no formal qualification.
