Student services centre
A high quality learning environment
The student services centre is a great place to study and has been specially developed to incorporate a quiet room for individual study, a group discussion room and a video-conferencing suite. We even have study pods designed to have the look and feel of café booths, bean bags and other brightly-coloured soft seating. All of this creates a great environment for you to learn and be inspired.
Sited over two open access floors, we have a library of over 30,000 volumes, print and electronic periodicals, DVDs and an ever-increasing number of e-books. You can also access subject and reference databases online through the University of the Highlands and Islands network.
Other facilities and equipment include: self-service issue machines; DVD player; data projector; photocopier/scanner; colour and black and white printers, and computer workstations. You can even borrow a wireless laptop if you’d prefer to study at one of the informal seating areas.
All in all, it's a great place to study and we know you’ll enjoy spending time here.
