You will explore why and how powerful speakers use attention-grabbing introductions, effective structures, strong conclusions and much more to communicate successfully with their audience. This will lead to you preparing and recording your own narrated, “talking head” PowerPoint video.

- How to research, plan and prepare your talk
- How to handle questions and prepare your PowerPoint presentation
- Studying a professional speaker and identifying best practice
- How to record a narrated “talking head” PowerPoint
- How to upload and share your talk
The course will be assessed by three quizzes on video and article content, one discussion board contribution and one narrated PowerPoint uploaded to the College secure Virtual Learning Environment.
