Researcher profile

Stacey has 10 years of experience working in cultural learning and development.

With a BA in Art History from the University of Aberdeen and an MA in Gallery Studies from Newcastle University, Stacey's interests span contextualisation, interpretation, display and audience engagement.

Having previously managed a networked multi-arts project in Highland, with both statutory partners and Creative Scotland Regularly Funded Organisations, Stacey brings a deep understanding of working within the creative and cultural sector.

Sitting on the board of both North Lands Creative Glass and Grampian Hospital Arts Trust, Stacey remains heavily linked with industry, providing the opportunity to remain up to date with policy and funding trends, changes and priorities at a strategic level.

This awareness continues to grow with the founding of Moray Arts Development Engagement (MADE); a new arts development charity that aims to create opportunities for socially engaged practitioners and communities across the region.
