Friday Afternoon Opportunities

Welcome to our Friday Afternoon Opportunities for School Pupils in Moray.

We hope to add to these sessions throughout the year and that you are able to find opportunities which suits your needs.

It is important to note that FAO do not form part of our normal Senior Phase Programme and therefore responsibility for getting to and from Moray College UHI plus any costs associated with the programme remains with the pupil and their respective parent/guardian.

Where an age range is appropriate, this will be included in the information about the FAO.

Open Studio Fridays at Moray School of Art content

Open Studio Fridays at Moray School of Art

During academic year 2019/20, Moray School of Art will be opening its doors on Friday afternoons from 1.30pm - 3.30pm for 5th and 6th year pupils across the region.

Supervised but untutored, the Viccy Art building will provide a space for students with an interest in pursuing further study in visual art to come together and make work in a creative environment.

We hope that this will give an insight into what is on offer here and that Moray School of Art, Moray College UHI and the University of the Highlands and Islands becomes an attractive destination of choice for future study.

There will be limited spaces and access to basic materials; students are required to provide their own sketchbooks.

This is a great opportunity for students from secondary schools across Moray to get together, build a new peer network based on shared interests and get to know staff and students and Moray School of Art.
