The aim of this module is to provide you with the basic understanding of economic principles and concepts and the potential of accurate economic analysis in the business environment.

On successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
- Apply knowledge and understanding in the analysis of a range of economic problems in relation to business situations;
- Apply appropriate models and techniques for explaining how the market structures within business organisations operate;
- Demonstrate an understanding of the key assumptions underpinning theories of consumer behaviour.
