Inna moved to Moray from Ukraine in 2022. She was keen to improve her English, expand her skills and to find employment here in Moray. Since working with us we have supported Inna to update her CV, we have organised work experience in an admin office at the local leisure centre to help improve her English Language. We have also explored a range of further education courses and applied for SCQF Level 5/6 Administration course at UHI Moray.

"I am very grateful to the support staff for absolute tolerance, professionalism, efficiency and responsiveness. I would like to note that the employees of the support service have a high level of time management, commitment, flexibility, loyalty.  I would especially like to thank you for the moral and psychological support provided, related to the complexity of my choice of a course of study, which determines the direction of my further association in Scottish society."

Lena moved to Moray from Ukraine. She heard about the Supporting New Scots programme from her ESOL lecturer at UHI Moray. Since working with us we have helped build her confidence, update her CV and prepare for interviews, and Lena now has a full time job in Elgin.

With previous experience in Corporate Law and International Civil and Private Law, Hanna is educated to a high level and committed to lifelong learning and is ready to continue to study and further her career here in Scotland. Since working with Hanna we have supported her to update her CV, job search for online positions and conversion of qualifications. Hanna has now been accepted to study BA Hons Degree in Politics and History at UHI Moray and also working part time for Moray Food Plus to support their administration and accounts.

"I am very grateful for the empathy, understanding and support in all matters that I felt from all the staff. This has been an invaluable experience as I adjust to my new life in Scotland.

I got so much support with CV, accredited training, translations, conversion of my diploma and certificates and enjoyed the group session."
