The Level 2 Food and Beverage Service Skills course will suit you if you are interested in working in front of house in a restaurant.

This course is ideal if you work in the food and beverage service industry in front of house and would like to refresh and build your skills to progress to a senior position.

You will gain the skills and knowledge you need to deliver a high level of service in a variety of hospitality environments.

You will achieve a City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Professional Food and Beverage Service Skills.

Relevant SCQF Level 5 award.

Students with appropriate industrial experience will also be considered.

Food and Beverage Service Skills

This unit provides the opportunity for you to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in serving food and beverages for counter and table service.

The unit is designed to meet the needs of the wide range of food service establishments in the UK today, as it is essential that you are knowledgeable and confident in a variety of food service situations.

You will also learn about the range of establishments, from cafes through to the fine dining establishments that exist today in industry.
