This unique course will be delivered by a blended learning approach and can be studied full time over 18 weeks.
The course content had been developed to allow you time to learn and progress your skills within a realistic learning environment at the college salon and working with real clients.
Successful completion of this course will enable you to be fully qualified in Barbering and work in an employed or self-employed basis.

You can gain direct access into the SCQF Level 5 programme with no previous experience in barbering techniques.
College Certificate in Hairdressing (SCQF Level 4).
Course content (full time: 18 weeks) includes:
- Consultation and Barbering
- Shampoo and Condition Mens Hair
- Colour Mens Hair
- Products and Styling for Men
- Mens Haircutting including Detailing and Facial Hair
- Develop and Enhance Practical Skills
- Information and Communication Technology
A kit and uniform will be required for the course and can be purchased through your Bursary funding.
