What is special about this course?

This course has been designed to introduce prospective engineering sector employees to this diverse field. It encompasses material from mechanical and electrical / electronic subjects and is mainly practical in nature.

Entry requirements

Working towards 2 National 4s including Applications of Mathematics or equivalent, e.g. may include relevant attainment at National 3.

Applicants will be invited to interview that will form part of the selection process.

Subjects include:
• machining
• welding
• hand skills
• electronic circuit construction
• assemble
• fabrication
Core skills of Numeracy, Communication and IT are included.
