Future Focus SCQF Level 4/5
What is special about this course?
The focus of this 1 year full time course is to give you the opportunity to sample a range of subject areas that we offer and thereby give you further options to progress into a specific area/course that the you find an interest in.
Should be working towards 4 National 4's including English and Maths.
Referred through Secondary School, SDS or other agencies.
You will choose 3 of the subjects below, and study these for 3 hours each per week:
• Beauty Therapy
• Business and Administration
• Computing and Digital Media
• Education and Childcare
Each week you will also study the following (incorporating Core Skills):
• Training and Development (2 hours)
• SQA Employability (SCQF Level 3/4) (2 hours)
• SQA Health & Wellbeing (SCQF Level 3) (1 hour)
• SQA Personal Development (SCQF Level 4/5) (2 hours)
• Social Sciences (2 hours)
• Science (1 hour)
• Course Support (1 hour)
Additional routes may become available subject to demand.

August start - 1 academic year (for August start choose "I want to start in 2020/21" when completing online application).

Successful completion of the course can lead to entry to an SCQF Level 5 course from one of the subject areas at Moray College UHI, a Modern Apprenticeship or possible future employment opportunities. Entry level to relevant industries and sectors.
