English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): Community - Beginners SCQF Level 3
What is special about this course?
ESOL classes help non-native speakers to improve their English for everyday life and the workplace. These classes focus on practical language and cover reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation and listening skills.

Special features:
• You can study our ESOL courses part time in the daytime and evening
• You can progress to Certificate courses at SCQF Levels 4-6
• You will be assessed to confirm what ESOL level you will study
Entry requirements
College placement test and interview
or
SQA ESOL Certificate
or
Cambridge English Certificate
or
equivalent (at the appropriate levels).

How will I study my course?
- Part Time
Face to face teaching, supported with Virtual Learning Environment engagement.
How long will my course last?
10 WeeksPart time: You will study 2 hours per week over 10 weeks.
You can study in the daytime or evening.
A decision to accept students for shorter periods will be made at our discretion - please contact the college for details.
